7/2/10 - On July 4th, 1776, The United States of America claimed it's independence from Great Britain. In addition, the USA adopted the Declaration of Independence. This document announced the 13 colonies of The United States, as well as told Great Britain that WE (the USA) are no longer part of the Bristish Empire.
So this weekend, while you are taking part in eating hamburgers and kosher grits at your barbecues, take a step back and think about how lucky you are to live in this great nation. For as many problems, issues, and disagreements we have with our political leaders and agendas, The United States of America is STILL THE BEST NATION IN THE WORLD TO LIVE IN.

If not, this is an interesting story. Because of the Anti-semitism incresasing in Amsterdam, the police are now disguising themselves as orthodox Jews and busting the criminals who are picking on them.

6/16/10 - In case you missed it, the South Carolina voters voted for Alvin (Al) Greene as thier democratic nominee in thier recent primary. Why did the South Carolina voters vote for Greene? Because they thought he was the famous singer Al Green. Sorry, but you're wrong.
According the website, www.allheadlinenews.com,
"The 32-year-old Greene has been out of work for the past nine months and is living with his father. He won the Democratic primary without holding any campaign events, staffers or contributors, raising questions how he paid the $10,400 filing fee and whether he is a Republican "plant."
Greene has insisted that he used money from a personal account to pay the filing fee but has not explained why he was assigned a public defender as an 'indigent.'"

Voters in this country need to start doing more research on who they are putting into office. People in this great country just don't care. We, as a nation, need a wake up call, and perhaps this is it. I just wish the main stream media would report this story and talk about it more often. If I was a resident of South Carolina, I would be very concerned that our next US Senator could be this guy, and I think that the networks such as CNN, NBC, and CBS have not been focused on this story as much as they need to be. Still, the oil spill is #1. Why?
